Partnerships

Engagement with International NGOs is an extremely valuable and useful channel for Ireland to gain access into peace processes and peacebuilding.  CRU has strong relationships with a number of international NGO partners such as the Crisis Management Initiative (CMI), Interpeace, International Alert, International Crisis Group (ICG) and the International Security Sector Advisory Team (ISSAT). 

The CRU also partners with a number of relevant United Nations agencies including the Peace Building Commission, the Mediation Support Unit within the Department of Political Affairs, the Bureau for Crisis Prevention and Recovery in UNDP, and the UN Department of Peacekeeping Operations.
